@Scott Roberts, sorry for the late response to yesterday’s strip, but the middle panel was utter perfection in depiction of situation. How do you manage to achieve such perfection in visual description? I dips me lid to you, sir.
@frank sminIt’s all acting and staging. Maybe forty years of doing amateur theatre helps? But poses like that are fun, and catching the combo’s on the fly gives it a little action. That, plus that was one of those gags that tickled me when I first read it. Kudos to John on a funny idea.
Nobody is in Congress for the money. Most are there for the power and prestige. A few of them are there for idealistic reasons, but then most of their ideals are wrong. Congress that was originally intended to defend the rights of the people is now a danger to our rights.
