This all could have been a lot worse if not for Obama. Thing is, it could have been so much better than this if Obama was not so willing to tread water and been a lot bolder like FDR was during the Great Depression.

And if it wasn’t for Bush, they wouldn’t have to be out there begging for spare change.

Do ANY of the “righties” claiming Bors is an “Obama tool” understand or recognize misplaced sarcasm???

Bors, unlike many on the right, is capable of skewering politicians on both sides of the aisle. I doubt very much that he attributes homeliness in America to the alleged “Marxist regime” that reactionary paranoids love to shriek about. President Obama has done his damnedest to save the capitalist system from its own systemic weakness, just as FDR did in the New Deal. He’s not even “liberal” in economic terms, let alone Marxist. Bors’ point is that Obama hasn’t been forceful enough in pushing federal stimulus to create jobs and pump more money into the economy, but the subtlety of his satire apparently escapes those fixated on the non-existent menace of American Marxism.

True story. I was talking with a die hard liberal about a month ago. He’s an educated, intelligent man. We were discussing Obamacare. Libs think it’s necessary because health care is SO important to survival that it needs to be provided for everyone..But I can think of 3 other things even more important to survival than health care. Namely food, shelter and clothing. So if you believe health care should be provided by the govt for everyone because it is so vital, then by definition you must believe that the govt should provide food, shelter and clothing as well..I swear to god the next words out of his mouth were that the govt already does that and that there are no homeless or starving people in America..That’s right. THIS is what many left wingers believe. When you here right-wingers talk about left wing elitism, THIS is what they’re talking about….
