Today is my 1,000th strip.
I’ve already drawn the next 14. New storyline next week. Somewhere in upstate NY, John is toiling away at his big writing desk…
Actually it’s a big computer and small desk.
So small that the computer keeps falling off the edge.

Wow, it really is scary how close to home this strip so often hits.
Must be why it’s still going. By my count, there have been 2,937 days of Working Daze. If one subtracts the occasional repeats- best of weeks and so forth, it’s still pretty close to that number. I think my archives are nearly complete.
Well, at least the 8 Ball isn’t as painful as the dartboard. Management has such poor aim!
She’s glued the inner workings so it always reads “No raise for you!”
