I guess that proves they’re not “gay blades.”

Disclaimer: OK, that joke only works if you’re old enough to have heard of a “gay blade” and young enough to know what I mean by “gay”.

AND if your standards for humor are as low as mine.

To the other 85% of you, I sincerely apologise.

They really had to steel themselves to tackle that heavy beard. And rumor has it that the medicine cabinet will soon be making room for a little shaver.Susan – I literally laughed out loud. Perfect! :D

… not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I am thankful that they remain the same width in one, two, three, four or five blades because that is perfect for doing the space to maintain my two eyebrows.

I thought Susan’s explanation was even funnier than the original joke.

Thanks you guys….. which to me includes both, or all, genders, of course.

    Hey I wasn’t explaining I was apologising….

When I directed it to 85% of you, I was including those whose standard for humor is higher than mine. LOL!

And MOST (but not all) of us are older than dirt, or at least giving it a good run for its money, even if we have to hobble these days.

And BTW my sister had the same problem “Sherry” and so did a good friend with “Jack”.

Teachers insisted on “real” names they didn’t have.

Yet with a last name very close to Sunshine, some thought it was cute to call me “Susie”, which I can’t stand to this day.

Oops, somebody did that today……. (blushes)…

Um….sorry Johnny. Well, I DO prefer Susan, I can’t deny it. But thank you!

Shave? Why?Oh, I guess your mother didn’t suggest for years you’d “look better with most of your face covered up.”Mine did. On the other hand, I’ve had a beard since I was 18, so she was obviously right – for the last 30 years anyway.

Gee—I still get a perfectly OK shave with two blades. And, about half the time a moisturizing strip.
