Gunther and Luann are out on their date. Gunther tells the movie ticket vendor, "Two, please." Luann says, "Gunther, I'm going to start treating you with the respect you deserve." Gunther asks, "You are? Why?" Luann replies, "Because I've treated you badly in the past." As they look for seats, Gunther says, "Not that badly." Luann says, "Yes I have, Gunther. I've been mean and aloof." They are sitting in their seats, and Gunther says, "Oh, well. I'm used to it, so-" Luann angrily interrupts, "Gunther, I'm going to be respectful and nice, ok? Deal with it!"

Ok first off this is their 3rd date. Second, you really need to stop saying things like this. Dude, it’s a comic strip.

GO LUANN! Gunther is become so used to being treated badly that for him it has become a habit. The only way to make him understand how wrong this is is to tell him this.
