Elections = “term limits”. Unfortunately, Boehner, Cantor, McConnell- and other “TEA party” Republicans who signed an oath to support “no taxes” instead of “the nation”, are still around, and that MUST change. But THAT would take an educated electorate- sadly, we can’t find one.
The “experienced” ones become complacent and care more about their cushy seats than do the job they are elected for. It’s usually the “experienced” ones that are typically bought by lobbyists’ money because they know the system. All politicians should have term limits.

^Get real. Vote buying is trivial. Congresspeople providing money to their state is part of the job, and that’s how they earn their votes.

A big game of chicken. Luckily I don’t have a variable rate loan anymore, as of June 10.

There are more “experienced” ones that have gone to jail for taking bribes than newly elected ones.
