Gift cards are what I bought for grandkids once they were too old for me to pick out fun games and stuff for tham (before I elected to just call and have a chat with each) as I decided the cards were very impersonal and being on SSA leaves little to spend on gifts.

This is good and I like the underlying commentary.
I know people who exchange gift cards at Christmas. how is that different than saying, “Hey, got two 10s for a 20?”

“I even thought ahead and printed out my signature, so you can tape it to the card and personalize it!”
