That’s been the future of warfare since WWII. First, it was the German V-I and V-II rockets, then the ICBM, then the drones. If it’s any consolation, it’s that technology that allowed us to go to the moon and send space probes all ofer the solar system.

We’ve had robot helicopters for years! It probably wasn’t shot down. It just went up, the tail rotor didn’t work and it spun wildly around the living room until it hit a lampshade and fell on the floor and then none of it worked.

The Radio Shack Wars. Can’t wait.

Orson Scott Card was prophetic. I won’t call him a prophet, that’s a reserved title in Mormonism. May as well give him more respect than he’d give me.

Oh, darn! I wanted to be the first one to comment with the “Ender’s Game” reference. That’s okay, I’m still a bigger nerd than you, nyah-nyah-nyah! But seriously, folks . . .

What planet have you been living on. War has been able to be fought from remote locations since the invention of the ICBM many, many moons ago.

Remote warfare is a giant step up from Omaha Beach, Khe Sanh, or Mogadishu.

We’ll be sure to do fine with this sort of warfare in the future as long as everyone remembers: “The enemy’s gate is: down!”
