    After the second or third day of Thanksgiving leftovers, we put the food in a cuisinart. So we really do have turkey through a straw.

    I love the heads in the last panel - its like the way they sing in the Charlie Brown TV specials - all mouths with noses, no real faces.

    I think “Turkey in the Straw” (or even “Turkey through a straw” is best played on the traditional fiddle – not an oboe. But maybe someone can write a special Thanksgiving piece for oboe for Petey to play next year instead!
