Larry says, "Whuh 'dissect' mean?" Billy says, "You cut it up. And it's a pretty involved process, so there's not much I can speed things up." Billy says, "Scientists work a little slower than that, dad." Larry says, "Dey must no have Wii."

I dissected a baby pig once. I also dissected a shark and a worm and a cray fish and a frog and a sheep brain and a sea lamprey and a cow eyeball. The cow eyeball was fun. There was this awesome jelly stuff.

I’ll never forget the time my biology teacher tried to “help” me dissect a sheep heart… she made a slip and spilled a full ventricle full of bloody formaldehyde all over me. Yummy.

I dissected a squid once. My partner was so freaked out that they stayed about two feet away and did as little as possible in the project. I absolutely loved it when I got to the ink part.

I dissected a fish once. Half my team was “observing”, aka avoiding touching the fish or anything near it, I was attempting to finish my drawing of the fish guts, and my other teammate tried to stab the fish’s eyes out. Aren’t group projects fun?
