We have the opposite fat cat that needs attention and a skinny dog who get attention.

We always thought my dog hated the cat, but she was so sad when the kitty wasn’t there anymore.

My dog would try to become friends with our cat (He’d sniff her, she’d hiss and paw at him) But when she died, he didn’t seem all that sad.
