That’s why liberals will never fix the problem… they don’t understand that if President Obama (peace be upon Him) actually fixed the economy with conservative policies that would have long term success and stopped supporting fringe special interest groups that many of us would vote for him again.
Seems most of the government has forgotten the words of Patrick Henry (though he may not have been the first to say them)- “United we stand, divided we fall.” Well, we’re pretty thoroughly divided. The only reason either side believes that we still won’t fall is that they’re locked into an ‘us against them’ mindset. The ‘we’ in the Henry quote is, therefore, only those who stand on their side. The others are all enemies who will fall away and case to matter. Hence, nothing gets done, because we cannot allow ourselves to unite. Oh yeah, and pride goes before a fall too. Listen to what both conservatives and liberals are saying, and see if it doesn’t smack of a little too much pride.
