I love the puffy Renaissance pants on the guy speaking – you never know what’s going to come back in style. BTW – does anyone know what those things are called? My google efforts to find the correct terms didn’t work. (I tried “pantaloons”, “breeches”, and a few other search terms, but they keep giving me pictures from the wrong eras.)
They’re hose, actually “trunk hose” to distinguish them from the “nether hose” below. If loose, rather than stiff or padded, they’re called slops. Those in the picture are “paned” hose, with panels in a different color.
