Hispanics have felt the wrath as well. Remember the outburst when Marc Anthony sang the National Anthem? All the racist comments about having a Mexican sing, how dare they, etc… Marc Anthony was born in New York and his family is from is Puerto Rico – a commonwealth and territory of the US – but that didn’t matter. His looks and accent labeled him a Mexican. It’s such a shame we still have so much ignorance regarding culture in our country. Can’t we all just get along?
