Mom: Well, you certainly were a terror in the doctor's office. Calvin: I fended him off with his own tongue depressor. That's why I didn't get a shot. Mom: You didn't need a shot. Your behavior was inexcusable. Calvin: All that counts is that he couldn't get near enough stick me. He things I'm a little pink pin cushion in underpants. Mom: Someday I hope you have a kid that puts you through what I've gone through. Calvin: Yeah, grandma says that's what she used to tell you.

Funnily enough, there’s a fan made strip called “Calvin and Company” about Calvin being grown up and has twins-a son and a daughter-with Susie.
In one strip, Calvin has to yell at his kids, while his mom does stuff, ignoring the chaos around her, until Calvin says that she’s enjoying this, and his mom says, “y’know, Calvin, karma is a funny thing.”
