..the East India Trading company was not making enough money on it’s tea and forced a tax via what today we would call lobbiests on the colonies.Americans protested .Today’s Tea Party is funded by the big bisinesses of today and is for less government in business affairs..yep..you can fool some of the people most of the time…

As I recall, the Union freed only the slaves in states that were in resurrection. The slaves both black and white, were still owned up North. So lets just say a Republican freed most slaves, Imagine the poor politician who tried to seize property without due process.
