No, we saw how the SEALs handled that. All YOU did was cower in a corner of the WhiteHouse and pray that the operation didn’t turn out like Carter’s desert ops farce rescue disaster in Iran back in ‘79. We knew that’s ALL you could think about, Barry.
It does not matter. I won’t get into the blame game but as far as the public’s perception matters the President is to blame. It doesn’t matter who he is or what party.
Did you do a research the impact of the stimulus, or are you basing your claims on the simple rise of unemployment? Republicans made the claim that the stimulus created no jobs, and the statement was rated a “pants on fire” lie by independent sources. Unemployment broke 9% before any of the stimulus had a chance to change anything, so that’s no basis. Pick your source, but I have yet to see an estimate for overall job creation lower than 2 million.“Snubbing our allies?” If you think they preferred Bush, you are sadly mistaken. The overwhelming reaction of our allies to Bush’s defeat was relief.

“Mr.” Riedl, so he’s not a professor..what are his credentials?
He needs some, because the paper he is attempting to refute has two authors, both holding doctorates. One is also the chief economist at Moody’s Analytics, meaning he is one of Wall Street’s elite. The other is a distinguished economics professor at Princeton. Their report is here:http://www.economy.com/mark-zandi/documents/End-of-Great-Recession.pdf
This is a big part of the problem. These right wing publications did not agree with a highly technical and detailed study, but did they bother to come up with their own model? No. He mentions the multiplier Zandi used in his model, then said this:“If that were true, the record $1.6 trillion in deficit spending over the past fiscal year would have already overheated the economy. " Uh, proof? With no degree, he just “knows” this. When Riedl argues with a real economist, he loses:http://www.capitalgainsandgames.com/blog/stan-collender/1505/i-hate-pile-brian-riedl-he-deserves-it

One man can affect a military event, world economics and a previous administration’s incompetency, not so much.
