Questions: Are they all wearing their class action suits? Do they have to pay for usage on a sliding scale? Is this the beginning of a slippery slope?

I haven’t played Snakes And Ladders since I was a small child. But maybe I’ve lived it since then.

Sorry to hijack Brevity for a question like this but this is where everyone I know from Comics.com seems to congregate. How did all the old alumni get the “Pro” designation on the transfer? This new system wouldn’t even let me use my old login name (used to be “Edgar”)

I bet some of them were like me… already a member, with the same name.

@ Number 6I wondered if it was a perk for dealing with the swapover in systems. Thanks for the info, I probably will retain my low-end freebie status! :)

I was a member before under the same name. After the switch I was a Pro. Hell, I knew that anyway….

Yes, if you click where it says “Welcome Comics.com members” on the homepage, it says your comics were successfully migrated, and you can change your password and get two months free pro membership. If you don’t see that link, you might have to “arrive” via a bookmarlk or link to Comics.com, which now opens GoComics. You also might have to log in using your name and password from the old site. In fact, it’s possible that some members who joined at the time of the switch-over were not allowed their previous user names simply because GoComics was already holding them… for THEM. I’m not sure cos I joined before the 1st of June, with the same user name as on the other site, and I paid the $11.88 for a year of no pop-up or other ads. Dunno whether I’ll do it again — but in the past I’d had problems trying to use this site. I do know it has nothing to do with already having been a member of both sites, cos in fact, I didn’t collect my free months cos I’d already paid. HTH
