What part of “equal protection” under the 14th Amendment allows split rolls for Midicare (or public employee pension plans). Boomers got theirs, young’uns can fight for the leftovers?
Bruce, it makes no difference whatsoever that it only affects those over 55. That was a cynical stunt to try to keep older voters from going ballistic. It WILL affect those under 55, who are still paying out of our paychecks for those who were fortunate to be born in time, so that they keep a very nice, efficient, and fairly comprehensive insurance policy that we will never get ourselves. Republicans are doing their best to screw us. They will find out whether we like it in 2012.
