“It’s not because I’m in love.” ??? The rest of it flowed wonderfully, but that start was a dark cloud over the whole thing. What does that translate to? “I’m not in love, I just want a shared workload”?

In Chrome, you can right-click and “view image in another tab”.

At 40ish w/ 2 girls, one a teen already, she need help. I think Mark is in love with her at some level. He’s always admired her, but he’s had a chance to see her as she is, and where she’s at now, and he’s STILL willing to make a commitment to help her out. If it ain’t Love, it’s at least very deep friendship, and that can be worth a whole lot more than love.Reid (a 50ish guy married 30 yrs).

This was pretty much the way it happened for us. We were in the grocery store and I was explaining to him how I needed to move out as I was just a new babe in Christ and didn’t want to live like that. After 3 months of knowing each other…he said, well we could get married.. I said, “That’s a thought”

Thanks for the Firefox hints, Saxie5..worked perfectlyThat proposal was so PERFECT it’s even making me reconsider my “single forever” vow. My criteria has always been, is it more fun being with him, or without him? Men can be such whiners when I’m crawling through swamps in the rain taking bird photos.

Don’t misunderstand Mark – he’s not saying that he doesn’t love her, or even that he’s not in love with her, but that that is not why he is proposing. Being in love isn’t always the best reason for proposing.
