Apparently he put “Action Strip” in his contract. Nothing like a little sister and a soccer ball to take care of the problem!.Of course, with a bilingual strip, the less dialogue there is, the greater the chance it’ll be funny in both languages!!
Some of the funniest comics had no talk in them at all, just the occasional sign

Ah Carmen wasn’t even close to have her glasses fall off. They must be hard to remove.
I’m with you most of the way. A comic has to be very funny for me to follow a wordy one.
