Good catch, mrbribery! Instead of putting Brozman’s name backwards on the wanter poster, it should be “WANTED: A WRITER FOR THE STRIP”. Also, Liz(z) needs to give Tray C. a book of regulations to read and heed, since he has re-written the law.

One thing I can say about Locher…he certainly has Tess in the strip a lot…is it just me or does she virtually start off every storyline now?

I think the “smell of Dick” story line was much worse than the casino caper, so let’s let it die.

I love Dick Tracy. I was send when my paper took out the phantom and Dick Tracy and others to nut comic in the funnies now days.

Newenglandah, You forget Bonnie ‘became’ a ‘little’ girl again and is living at home along with brother Joe (who became Cool Dude), not that we have seen hide nor hare of any of them since 2004 when Tracy came up against that “great” villain design, J.Kindy Goodfellow (the kind DL trotted out when he wanted a creative holiday) The only one seen living at home recently was Junior/John, last Christmas. Unless he was just there for the “photo-op” (?) And in the face of all these discrepancies (e.g. who lives where) some supporters STILL insist there IS sound “CONTINUITY” in the strip.

We’re all reading the same strip, so I think they should “qualify” their opinion by revealing that they have the superior benifit of Daredevil vision, one where FEEL trumps simple SEE !

AndyH40, I can’t recall if you are an artist (?) But it “seems” Tess needs to be around more frequently to keep the sex appeal balance looking normal now that Lizz is positioned upstairs (?)

Seems too, Locher didn’t think things through carefully when he needlessly retired Patton and removed Lizz from “everyday use. As I recall, Gould retired Brandon to make room for Jewish Sam Catchem. Looks like DL thoughtlessly painted himself into a corner on that one,

Can’t say it would look good to have Teevo in that flirtatious “role” beside Tracy, although it would serve to finally get him out of the office.

Now we don’t even see Sam Catchem !

To answer your question, yes I am an artist. I wholeheartedly agree that the strip needs some kind of femenine appeal now that Lizz has taken a back seat in that department. At one time she was the sexiest woman in the comics, and Chet didn’t hold anything back!

I am so glad that we can go back to those years (late60’s-70’s) and see those great dress designs, because we will never see them again!

I just can’t understand why every new story has to begin with Tess and a phone call, or someone else and a phone call at home!

I hate to see this story end; there has to be dozens of lame card puns “left on the table”. Big Ace’s appearance changed so often he essentially gave us a new enemy daily. Hopefully we will get to see more Big Ace on Sunday. Big Ace said he had many operations running, so there could be another deck of Card People out there (some of whom are bad and some good, but not all related? HUH?).

Another non-story starting with Tess on the phone. Does the creative team have a contract with a phone company? Is BB the one wracking up the fraudulent credit card charges? How old will she be this time?

YAWN. The guys from Gasoline Alley draw a good Dick Tracy, why can’t anyone actually involved with the strip do the same?

Yes, Tracy take a long vacation! Back in the dim recesses of my memory, you were about to do so at this time last year, and Tess was waiting for you to come home until she was distracted by Dr. Noll and Angelglorioski.

Didn’t Tracy’s last vacation get interrupted by an old Cold War cyptograher that was brainwashed to go to some place and his caretaker/daughter was killed?

That’s my memory of it, or maybe it’s just the booze talking… ;-)
