Hah, Tracy had nothing to do with it! He just hid behind the bushes. I see that OMSWAT is back from the doughnut shop.

And what about Litl Buzz Bomb? Doesn’t he deserve at least a small mention?

Their security was “in jeopardy”? It was non-existent, you twit. They’d be better off letting Bob Hope tell some jokes than this nonsense.

We’re preparing for a bittersweet scene between Dick and his Robot. Sniff…

Miss Roma and her cohorts are in custody? Who’s the other cohort besides the pirate guy?

Where’s Pirate Billy? I don’t see no patch on that Riverdale kid behind Shirl 2.

The swat office stifled a grin as he glanced towards Tracy. “Hope I don’t become as useless and obsolete as He is when I get to be his age”, he joked to himself. He sighed as he remembered the standing order from HQ regarding Tracy; Keep everything simple and positive. “Miss Roma and her cohorts are in custody. Tracy”. Dick barely heard what the swat guy said to him. HE was too busy trying to think of another joke he could say that would make his audience laugh. Tracy, trying his best to sound and pose like his favorite comedian Paul Lynde faced the crowd. “Time to pick up the pieces”! Debbie and Brad, having been advised not to say anything that could set Dick off approached him slowly and tried to say what they hoped he would be happy to hear. “Our security was in jeopardy until you showed up, detective”. Debbie said, kissing up to Tracy. Dick was please that he was referred to as detective. “At least someone still recognizes what I am”, he thought. As he glanced towards Traze-R lying one the floor, Tracy felt in a generous mood. “Wouldn’t hurt to give that useless milk pouring robot some credit even thought he got his butt whipped”! Tracy said out loud; “I don’t get the credit. Genesis owes its thanks to Traze-R”.

Traze-R, lying on the floor unable to move suddenly understood why Magnum-Force zapped Braces. “If only I had MF’s ability to hate”, Traze-R sadly thought as he wished he could shut Tracy up.

    Hopefully this is it….

Years ago when the strip was about Dick Tracy and not his namesake this was always a time of great anticipation and excitement. –the unvailing of a new villain was at hand. Although this has been Locher’s best area of expertse on the strip we haven’t seen any truly ‘memorable’ characters emerging in quite a few years. As we look forward my concern once again is the painful glacial movement in his story-telling style.”Build-up, build-up’ for twelve weeks before any real progress thakes place. In Gould’s day the crime was committed between week one to three and the exciting “chase” was on the way.The Kilian/Locher team killed that thrilling activity 15 years ago.It seems before Kilian’s departure he inoculated Locher with a variant strain of Parkinson’s disease that continues to restrain forward movement. As the curtain falls I’m still puzzled as to how “Little-T Emerged from his “Pouch” with Traze-R in that bent over position. Is there a “back=door”?

Sydney, of course there’s a back door! Ludwig affectionately referred to it as another opening, commonly located in tbe rear. Some refer to it as the anal aperature.

I think Genesis owes it’s thanks to the fact that Braces and crew were an even bunch of bigger bunglers than Tracey and his staff.

Tracy finally starts acting like a professional—- after the action is over. I’ll second– and maybe third– some of the other poster’s opinion about OMSWATT, too. It’s great to be brave after the shooting stops. The only worthy of the lot on the police side was Traze-r, he at least tried to put on a show of stopping the bad guy. The rest hid behind bushes and screamed in terror. Thanks a lot, police persons. I don’t need your help to hide and scream.
