It should be remembered the screaming “savages” called Vandals sacked Rome. We do need to both protect our freedoms, and and watch out for those who would use them to take them away through abuse.
It’s hypocritical for Democrats to defend their point of view? Free speech doesn’t mean the right to shout down anyone who disagrees with you. If Righties loved their country as much as they claim, they’d let their representatives talk.
It seems to me that the reprensentatives have had the chance to talk, and the people don’t like what they have heard. Most of the “thugs” and “savages” that I have seen in the news reports are self discribed over-the-hill Independents or Democrats. Oh and by the way, hypocrasy is a job requirement for politicians. It’s the only way they can reconcile stealing the people blind and still act as if they are championing for us.
secondson: “Most of the “thugs” and “savages” that I have seen in the news reports are self discribed over-the-hill Independents or Democrats.”
I’m pretty sure the Republicans who are so scared of town hall discussions on health care that they’re trying to shut it down are not “Independents or Democrats”.
So either you’re lying, or the only “news reports” you see are on Fox.
DrCanuck, Striper, like most most righties, doesn’t believe in “innocent until proven guilty” because that’s a product of liberal judicial activism. Doesn’t appear in the Constitution at all.
At least, given how often they scream about liberal judicial activism, one can only assume…
Striper saved a life? Good, more power to you for that. Obama attended a “non Christian church” for 20 years????? Wow, all them Baptists are anti-Christian MUSLIMS!!! WHO would have guessed THAT one?
Striper is soooooo touchy about his “birther” buddies spouting KKK and SS dogma, and antics, but every Democrat is automatically a PETA member, and NAACP- those “commie outfits” in his alleged mind??? BTW, PETA is a whacko group with no biological standing for most of their views, but they still have the right to hold them, even though uninformed, kinda just like birthers??
It’s not in the Constitution.
It wasn’t created by the Legislature.
It appeared as a result of Coffin v. United States.
Thus, it’s one of the countless examples of judicial-made law, which means all the conservatives who are constantly crying out about “liberal judicial activism” must certainly be against “innocent until proven guilty”.

My fellow Americans, the revolution is not over until the last one of us is dead. Until that is the case, let’s see if we can work something out.

Striper, how could Obama be born in Kenya when there was no nation of Kenya when he was born?
By the way, you completely danced around my point about judicial activism and innocent until proven guilty. Nice try, but it was noted.
