Economists panic as the teen unemployment rate hits 21% (Man: It's the dirty secret of the U.S. economy: we're totally dependent on kids blowing their McDonalds paychecks on video games.) Even more frightening is the rate of child unemployment, which is rapidly approaching 100% (Man 2: Parents see loveable bundles of joy. I see billions in wasted GDP.) Not only do jobless children lose their ability to support themselves they lse their self worth. The last thing society needs is kids with extra time on their hands! (Man 3: Kids' minds are like sponges! They'll use their leisure to cause social unrest!!) Next: the fetal unemployment epidemic. (Man 2: Get a job, you amniotic layabout!) (Woman: Why? They'll just lay me off!)

Well, if the dems want to pay off this huge national debt, they better stop supporting abortion! They will need those extra people to work the next 100 or 200 years to pay off all this mess!

“Well, if the dems want to pay off this huge national debt…”
As if our national debt is something that just appeared on January 20, 2009. We had a nice budget surplus that Bill Clinton left us, until George W. squandered it on his folly in Iraq.

Most of the problems in the world today are caused by over-population. If we could slow the reproduction waaay down, we would be a lot better off.

Overpopulation is not as big an issue as it was 30 or so years ago when it was really discussed seriously. We certainly should be looking at overpopulation as a major problem.

dedheadzan: Read a National Geograpic article a while back about the demographics of the US population. Since 1945 the population has more than doubled. Since 1985, 50% of the population has migrated to one of the three coastal areas.
