The long range plans of the Obama administration call for multi trillion dollar deficits every single year into the foreseeable future. Even the NYT admits that if the full bloom of economic recovery occurs as per his fondest dreams the taxes thereby paid in will not cover his debt.
He is trying to implement the grandiose plans of progressives for the past 60 years while they still have a huge majority. Our grandchildren will be paying for our folly. We are talking about debt over 80% of GNP-unsustainable (see Greece/Iceland)

Oh, sure, because our children would never have had to pay off the grand misadventures of Reagan, Bush I and Bush II, Ieaq, Afghanistan…
Except that Clinton DID put us on the road of fiscal resposibility after Reagan and Bush I, but now that Bush II has pretty much destroyed the world our children have no choice but to bail us out.
Oh, sorry, I don’t pay any attention to Washington trying to tell us how to get in shape or to anything involving a first lady being a spokesperson for some feel-good sentiment.
Bush ran up a massive totally unnecessary debt. But it was pennies compared to what Obama is doing. Why do progressives constantly conflate billions with trillions? Obama has already added more debt than all the other 44 Presidents combined. It doesn’t help your cause to misconstrue the facts.
BTW, on Sunday Biden claimed the success in Iraq should belong to Obama. After he said that we could never succeed there.
Saying that Bush II “has pretty much destroyed the world” is even goofier than saying that he planned the 9-11 attacks. So much for what tiny remnants of sanity remain on the far left.
