Yup, just look at the swearing-in scandal; If the judge botched the oath on purpose, that means the GOP is not only partisan, but without any smarts or respect for the institutions of their country. The fact that the democrats thought right away that it was a partisan manoeuvre shows that they are not gonna trust the GOP anytime soon.

Partisan politics SUCK! All voting in congress should be done by secret ballot so our elected officials could vote their conscience without fear.

The senate vote on Hillary was forced to secret ballot by one congressman, Not trying to stop her, but to get the senators on record that voted for her nomination. Come in handy down the road when the fingerpointing starts!!

If you’re all that frustrated with the status quo (as I am), then do something about it. It’s quite easy to google up this page: http://www.visi.com/juan/congress/ and find your congressperson’s email or web-form contact info. Tell them how sick and tired you are of it; tell them to quite the partisan BS and get to work. I already have. Get enough of us doing it and they can’t ignore that.

I am opposed to secret ballots to conduct our nations business. I feel that all should be a recorded vote. I want to know what my representative is telling them for me!

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Seems that someone as smart as a Chief Justice Roberts could administer such a simple thing and do it right. after all words are a Lawyers stock in trade

OldLego, the@ss forgot to develop a plan while running for office. It’s a “good” thing the genius PAULSEN got up and gave them something to live for.

That one oath is written in the Constitution. A “constitutional” lawyer AND the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is an arss, a fake and incompetent, as are 90 per cent of Bushes appointees. This one for life.
