“My great-aunt Jennifer ate a box of candy every day of her life. She lived to be 103, and when she had been dead for three days, she still looked better than you do now!”—Sheridan Whiteside, “The Man Who Came to Dinner”

phoenixnyc – I thought that you were going to tell this one: An 8 year old boy was sitting on a swing eating jelly beans. A man came by and started telling him how candy was bad for him and it not only would rot his teeth but it would shorten his life. The little boy said, “I had an uncle that lived to be 95”. The man said, “And I suppose he ate a lot of candy”. The boy said, “No, but he knew how to mind his own freakin’ business!!!”
