I totally agree. I know the strip is meant to be a parody and provide commentary, but I wish her dad would let her stay home and refuse to give her any spending money. She reminds me of too many people I’ve met in real life!
What he should do is dock her check for every cent she makes him lose and still not give her money. Wouldn’t that teach the value or lack thereof of a $1.
