Garfield: I consider television a worthwhile pursuit. Why, watching daytime televisions is even better than...uh...better...than... I hate talking myself into corners.
Watching nighttime television? This was the 80s, the golden era of the soap opera, Garfield had plenty of juicy over the top melodrama to choose from for entertainment. Also maybe shows like Jerry Springer? I’m not sure. Either way, he’s not wrong, 80s daytime tv was good.
