Perhaps nobody informed Garfield the uncle wanted to become an aunt…
Actually when you neuter a dog or a cat it influences the way they smell to other animals, males smell female essentially, it doesn’t tend to change their own attitudes but it changes how others treat them.

I had a kitten when I was younger named Rosie. We brought them to the vet and turned out Rosie was actually a boy. And that’s how Rosie became Jack.
