back to books - the resale shop does a good job of recycling the books and donates the leftoversto the library for their book sale each year.
pearlandpeach: If you have Windows (I don’t know about Macs) just go to your character map - I use mine often, so I put a shortcut to it on my desktop. All kinds of symbols in there for you.

I stopped buying books a while ago and got rid of most that I already had. The library saves you a lot of money, especially when you find out the book is a bad one. Our library system is great. It’s a consortium of 30 library systems in 9 counties. You can place a hold online and it will be delivered to the branch of your choosing. DVD’s too.
if I were a character map, where would I be? in other words, what do I hit first to find the map. and other directions. I AM the original pc key puncher know-nothing.

My library doesn’t charge fines. They have a “Guilt Money” box and collect much more money that way.
May I also suggest giving books to the hospital, homeless shelters and prisons.

@Pearls Click on the START button. Scroll down to RUN Type the word “charmap” A window will pop-up.
