I always rode my bike on the sidewalk (illegal) to stay away from the traffic, and still had many close calls from drivers coming out of parking lots and not looking.
I like cyclists except when they ride two abreast and clog the road.
Can the arrogance and keep right. We’ll love you more and maybe earn you some respect.

Yeah cycling has it’s own rewards, just as long as a drunk driver or a cell phone fanatic doesn’t try to run you down.

My wife and I bike everyday and like you Aryalover it too annoys us when bicyclists don’t use courtesy while biking.
Having said that, I hate it when there is no traffic coming and the car passing me doesn’t move over and allow some space between me and the car.
