bell - if only it were that simple. The Dems would stay in gov without end. But no differently then in Canada or the UK or France…people vote with their religion, and their gender, and their age, and income, and in fear of their neighbors, and in fear of losing their job, and in fear of being ridiculed for their opinion, and in fear of standing out. They vote by not voting for fear of making a mistake, they vote the way their husband, or wife, or parents, or professors or boss directs them to.
Sometimes they even vote for the man or woman they want to lose because they believe whomever they vote for WILL lose.
But the comic is interesting because it does leave open the question of whether it’s about voting to help the economy or voting to protect your boss. There is no small number of companies out there whose management makes it very clear what the ‘correct’ vote is.
Tourgent;
In other words, worship the fat cats if you don’t want them to be mean with you. That was not the spirit of the founding fathers!
Take my word for it, it comes from a former fat kid the bullies used to pick on; the more you kiss people’s bleeep, the more they kick yours. So don’t waste anything good on the fat cats.
They do all that anyway. Plus if we stand to those companies, we’ll make them understand we’re no doormats. We’ll have our dignity and that has no price.
I don’t know for you guys, but I’d ratherbe poor than a doormat. I’ve already been one.
Dale, once again. Anyway I work for a company that will not out source, but could go out of business when their taxes increase from Obama the Terrible.
He’s repeated ad nauseum that he will actually grant 50% tax breaks to small businesses, so no Boogie Man there. Even if he did raise them, which he won’t, they would only go to Clinton-era or H.W.Bush-era levels. Not even to Reagan-era levels! And the Nixon-era levels were something like 71% for those making over $3 Mil. Geesh!
This is true. Only not in the way Gary thinks it is. If only people had thought about this eight years ago, we might not be in the mess we are now. DEMOCRATS CREATE AMERICAN JOBS, REPUBLICANS SHIP THEM OVERSEAS.

Or you can vote for Obama, and once the company is taxed out of existance, you can hope for “free money” like the rest of his supporters.
