ez, probably because Hillary, though I don’t care for her, can stand on her own two feet and have a cohesive conversation. I’ve not seen one interview with Palin in which she was able to answer a simple question without stalling or outright lying. For example, Question: “Which newspapers do you read on a daily basis?” Answer: “All of them.” Bull$hit!

ANandy, not that your argument has any merit, but in the spirit of debate: Yes, I would prefer big gov’t over big business because you can vote the politicians out. What recourse do you have over the businessmen?

Finally! A Varvel comic that I can agree with! The RED firetruck is the Republican party, right?

Sarcasm, or not sure that it’s spelled “typist”? Guess we’ll never know…

It’s unlike TT to do a “to be continued” cartoon. Interesting…

It’s spelled “desperate”. Hell, even your browser can spell-check for you, ANandy. Don’t be lazy; finish high school.

Physics geek time: From the perspective of the “camera” the direction of the partial moon is completely wrong; it should obviously face the sun. I won’t even go into the question of scale – call that one artistic license for the benefit of audience recognition.

Dred, you’re right. In the world of bungee, so long as your cord has any slack, your speed is either increasing (probable) or maxed (rare, if not impossible due to the distance requirements). The cord must be taught and beginning to stretch for there to be a speed decrease. Sorry, TT’s not up there with Bill Amend in the physics department.

    Senor, think Ellen or Rosie.

Lalas, you got me thinking: Why does it matter to many people and why do they claim that it’ll destroy their marriages? Then it hit me. It’s like when you buy a TV on Wednesday and then on Saturday that same model goes on sale for $200 less. You feel gypped because you made a decision too early. I think all these people will feel like: “Whoa, you mean I could’ve had that? F%*@! I decided too early!” The closeted homophobes are merely protecting themselves from buyer’s remorse.
