I would RESPECTFULLY remind you that for the last 2 years, the Democrats controlled Congress. Now that they have their President (and I don’t care if he’s GREEN) in office, they have no more excuses. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

I think Obama needs all the support he can get to fulfill even half of his promises. He’s our pres now, whether we like it or not.

Right and that’s why we don’t like obama, not because of the color of his skin but because of his total lack of character. Would MLK be proud or disgusted at BHO? Would he be saying, “Come on brothers, we could have done better than that!”??

Ninetoes - he may have only vetoed a few items, but he wrote “signing statements” (which frequently directly contradicted the bill) on quite a few.

Also since there was not a super majority all he needed was a third of either house to follow him lock-step in order to get his way…why pass legislation when you know it won’t pass?

I JUST LEARNED ABOUT THAT IN ALGEBRA 2!! : D My teacher helped us to memorize the second formula by singing it to us to the tune of “Pop Goes the Weasel”!!
