Or………we could go back to the tax rate before WW2 and DROP ALL Federal Social programs except SS and Medicare and let the individual states administer local programs as needed. The revenue generated by having more money to spend (local tax revenue) would offset the loss of Federal programs(waste) and allow the People more control over their own lives.
