What’s with the coloring. Everything is beautiful until you see Calvin and his parents? On my screen they are cyan colored and look like zombies.

When did Calvin and his parents’ faces turn green? Do they need to throw up?

What kid doesn’t like dinosaurs at that age. This brings back fond memories of early childhood.

My god! Calvin’s family has been turned into zombies. Must have been those monkey brains.

The colour must be due to the setting of the scene - in the late cretaceous period.

Maybe the introduction of knives and forks is why the dinosaurs became extinct. Very cumbersome when devouring a ton of meat daily.

Most probably there has been a mix up with the colors on BW’s desk.

When dinosaurs ruled the Earth! And Calvin ruled the dinosaurs! And Calvin’s mother ruled his manners while eating…

The smaller arms and claws on the Tyrannosaurus sure come in handy for using utensils

Dinosaurs (and especially the T-Rex) … not JUST for kids. I’m 40 years old and one of my favorite movies is “Jurassic Park”!!!!!

The whole family looks kinda pasty-zombie-ish right there. Hmmm.

I think it’s hilarious! The colour just adds to the absurdness of it- Calvin is brilliant to think of such a funny comeback thought-bubble. I miss Hobbes! So,Jimeguess, you read how many comments just to post yours???

Those are definitely not the original colors. In my C&H book they have nice caucasian skin tones. The whole comic is palette shifted or missing something.

Of all dinosaurs in comics, Watterson’s are the best.

You’re right, the coloring is off. This comic is in one of my books and it shows the parents normal colored and the stuff around Calvin”s mouth (and on the Trex’s fork) as a bright green. This is one of my favorites ever, i’m sad they messed it up. –

forget the coloring… there is a certain grossness watching a T-Rex dine on the Tri-top with a piece of it on his fork!! haha!!! :o)
