I despair the geographical knowledge of this place’s admins… :’(

(unless they thought of the Netherlands Antilles…? Nah)

wtfallnamestaken : We didn’t miss the point, we lamented its labelling as a “ViewsLatinAmerica ” cartoon when it is a Dutch cartoonist commenting on the healthcare battle taking place in the USA. It happens often, is a little annoying and leads us to believe that geography plays no part in the admins of GoComics

The idea in the cartoon is self-explanatory.

wtfallnamestaken also sneered: ”but that is probably to be expected from them.”

OmQ R sighs and asks: And what is to be expected of us then, pray tell?

GoComics doesn’t do a bad job of showing the range of cartoons in the mainstream press in the United States, but when it comes to those benighted parts of the world that lay outside that country’s boundaries (but not out of range of its military bases !) it misses the boat completely. To take one example - have you ever seen a Steve Bell cartoon on GoComics ? And yet Mr Bell regularly publishes satirical masterpieces in the Guardian, written in a language that even GoComics executives should understand….
