And Obama is taking us into Afghanastan and escalating the missions there. It will get real messy. But I don’t hear any Bush bashers talking about staying in Iraq and going into Afghanastan.
From what’s happening from our side, I’d say Obama has noted the wreck needs a bigger tow truck to pull us out of Afghanistan, while we start giving more attention and aid to the victims of the crash. It’s just hairy directing traffic while you clean up the “accident” scene.
Remember, vanpelt, that no good deed ever goes unpunished ! If Bush/Cheney had walked on that one, the life of the US Empire might have been prolonged a few years or so. Now Mr Obama is putting the finishing touches on the job in Afghanistan, with a little help - every thought does count - from my government here in Sweden….

It was actually a U.S. armored vehicle that pulled the statue over in front of about 100 Iraqis they rounded up, but a photo op.
