How does one argue that the media aren’t liberal when virtually all of the people who work in the newsrooms are? I understand that owners are typically conservative, but owners don’t research, write, or deliver the news. Independent polling has shown that large percentages of news workers self-identify as liberal and/or Democrat. Whether or not there’s a liberal bias in reporting, the people of the media are mostly liberal.
Katie Couric was pretty laid-back, all things considered. I’d like to see O’Reilly go after her the way he goes after Democratic “pinheads.” The debate moderator was so mild it drove me crazy. Just once I wanted her to note that the question hadn’t been answered – at least twice for Biden and I think 4-5 times for Palin.
