I am totally perplexed by the Trump phenomenon. I can understand that a portion of the populace could fall for the shtick, but to have more than his MAGA base considering voting for him after all the horribleness he instigated after he lost the last election is beyond the pale. The word has to be gotten out better that he is an existential threat to our Democracy and offers no real alternative solution to any economic, social, or diplomatic problem we currently have.
Consider that SCOTUS is in the tank for Trump. Aileen Cannon will be remembered as being in the tank for Trump and being a big reason why democracy was ended in the U.S. Big Business is raking in huge profits and keeping inflation high, in order to get Trump re-elected and another round of tax cuts. The wealthy awaken each morning convinced that the U.S. owes them, in the form of tax cuts.

If the election were held today what would be my biggest worry? That people would be stupid enough to repeat the Orange Mistake.
