No doubt Norman Rockwell would have approved this ironic depiction. It says it all.

There seems to be at least one case where AI has been a blessing. Check out the latest song by Randy Travis (Where That Came From) and the story behind it.

Nice try, AI. It’s fairly easy to tell the difference: AI has no soul or depth.

Love Norman Rockwell’s work and his museum near Stockbridge, MA. He cranked a lot of front cover illustrations for the Saturday Evening Post magazine.

Aahhh . . .but AI can’t see through Norman Rockwell’s eyes and process waht Rockwell saw through Rockwell’s own personal experiences. And therein lies the difference between AI generated stuff and Rockwell’s artistic reality.

The applications for AI are bass ackwards. Instead of AI creating art and writing so we can do the laundry and dishes, AI should be doing the laundry and dishes so we can create art and writing.

For those who don’t know, it is Norman Rockwell that is being ‘developed’ on the easel.
