I remember a part of a conversation, years ago, between a couple of friends. One guy said, “The memory is the first thing to go.” The other guy replied, “No, it’s not.” With a perfect vocal inflection, the first one then said, “Oh, yeah … I forgot.”
My problem, only recently, is that my long-term memory is very good, but my short-term memory stinks. (What did I do yesterday? Why can I remember stuff from when I was 10?)
