I’ve never been able to wrap my mind around the idea that “golf” is a verb as well as a noun … or is it not, and just gets misused a lot, like here? “He played golf,” instead of, “He golfed.”
There’s only three clubs in his bag. He probably calls them Son, Holy Ghost, and I Am.
Not even God can hit a one-iron.
Did he pad his score?
God’s a piker. On the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh day, Trump golfed.
