My child once had a sore throat. I got a small flashlight, looked at it, and said that she had strep throat, and not to spit on me. Yes, she did, and yes, I got it much worse than she did. We left where we were, and I took her right to the after hours pediatric clinic. In a few days, I went to see my own doctor. I think taking care of sick kids is the worst, since you know you are going to end up with it, too, most likely.

Mom (God rest) would disagree with the last. I learned how to help her and take care of the household chores.
Do furkids count? Mine all seem to want to comfort the sick people.

If you don’t have children, kid germs are the worst. You get 3 times sicker thatn the kid ever was.
