Donations for all the other Republican candidates and the RNC are the lowest they have been in decades. All the MAGAts are sending money to Trump instead, which he is using for his legal problems. There could be a bright side to all of this after all.

But the MAGAt crowd is proud that they are paying off the fines and penalties of their glorious God King Trump. They may not have clothes to wear or food to eat, but they saved their savior from living like they do!
First: it’s against the law for a political candidate or office holder do that. Second, I believe that there is paperwork that must be filled to track donated funds. If so, does that make this cartoon “misinformation” or an outright lie?

That’s why he’s not allowed to run his Foundation anymore, that was part of the issue with the Stormy Delight payoff, and it may get him in worse trouble yet.

It may not seem like that big of a deal, money is money; you borrow from Peter to pay Paul, and so on, and nobody gets hurt so long as Peter eventually gets his money back. However, there are nonetheless laws about such matters; breaking these laws makes you a criminal even if there is no “victim,” and that’s what the NY fraud trial is about.
The donors don’t mind. The little donors see it as protecting their savior, whether it’s from legal or political opposition. And if Melania left him, they’d donate to his divorce lawyers’ fees, too.
The big donors know that the little donors just won’t let him go. So, they can’t either. But they also know that even if Trump is a traitor and a horrible president, he won’t do anything explicitly against their interests.
I think it’s funny. A bunch of halfwits paying a supposedly billionaire’s legal fees while he complains he has immunity to break any laws he wants. LOL. That’s a republican for you. They all “Law & Order” EXCEPT when they want to break the laws. I hear the same thing in my community. The right wing republicans complain daily about people not getting jail time for penny ante laws while they’re out breaking all the speed limit and stop sign laws. LOL, then complains when someone on social media calls them out for it.
