Media has always, and still jumps ahead with weak fact-checking to be the first to report on anything! Who does one trust? It’s getting harder as the years go by. We no longer have Cronkite, Huntley, Brinkley, Wallace or Howard Beal any more!

Sounds like what the RNC has been considering. Sounded as though TFG was for until it was pointed out by advisors that it would be too soon to start the tasks of a dictator.

True, the media loves to make premature pronouncements. But when haley drops out, probably after she loses SC then it’s over. So the talking heads saying trump is the chosen of the repubs is just are calling a 2 foot put.

Even Trump is saying it’s TOO EARLY to be calling it a "race…

Of course, the REASON Donnie John doesn’t want it called is because after the race is called, it will diminish his ability to scam his followers out of money.

…and does anybody remember back to 2020 – saying the race was over before the race was over was one of the arguments he used as to why he really won that particular race…

A little too much has been made of this. Yes, it’s true that no Republican official should have suggested that the primaries be called off in Trump’s favor. But, short of that, Trump is the inevitable candidate, with the primary elections mere formalities.

At least we still have political cartoonists willing to simplify (and sometimes distort) the facts to make a slightly humorous point.

Frankly, I don’t think people should be able to drop off of a primary ballet. If they want to quit campaigning fine, but drop out, because of a few early states? Nope. Especially if you’ve worked to get your name on the ballet of every state, you should remain in the running.
