Recently when a Snow Day was declared in New York City the students were told to attend classes online.
We used to say that if the superintendent’s helicopter couldn’t fly………
We must have had a snow day last Friday, because the white stuff was coming down like crazy.

During high school, I lived in the snow-belt of northeast Ohio. One of the school superintendents lived next door for 3 years. The boys in my class were always encouraging me to shovel more snow on his driveway (but didn’t offer to help!)
