After a few uninspired words about “freedom from government telling people what to do”, she answered the guy’s simple question with another question: “What would you like me to say about it?”

It wasn’t something stupid, it was parsed and rehearsed to appeal to the MAGA base. Same level of moral cowardice on display as when citizens of her state wanted to remove Confederate symbols from the flag and statues from public grounds.

She’s too shallow to realize how ignorant she is. Perfect MAGA candidate.

What does it say about her base that she was so reluctant to say the Civil war was about slavery? Nothing good.

And will continue to do so. Does anyone in the R party have an education above HS?
